This is the second book in the series. Twila is on a mission to hunt down her mother's killers and bring them to justice. Cairn Terrier Scratch adopts her and loves to ride on the back of her Harley with her. She also meets very sexy cowboy, Tanner Ferrano, who is hell bent on getting into her pants. They go horse riding and mud bogging together, and get locked in a wine cellar, where their only option is to drink the priceless wines.

Backwoods Boogie

Twila finds herself working for Jimmie-Ray -- the man she despises most  in the world, but her compassionate nature cannot allow Pam Taylor to be convicted of murder when she is clearly not capable of killing anything. She calls Gasser to come to Quisby, her small Alabama hometown, to help with a problem. 

Gasser starts a band, and Twila and her friends rescue some dogs from a puppy mill, much to Scratch's approval! 

The Others

Great Aunt Essie adds her own special brand of humor to Twila's life. She drinks Jim-Beam neat, smokes weed (for medicinal purposes of course), and rides a Harley whenever she gets the chance.

Gasser Cunha is Twila's neighbor in Boston. A master hacker and infamous farter, he helps Twila bring a terrifying criminal to justice. He likes to enjoy a 4:20 with Aunt Essie.

Horton O'Connor is Harland's twin brother. He's just as hunky and Twila has a tough time trying to decide which twin to choose.

The Animals
