Redneck P.I. Twila Taunton

Romantic suspense with a good dose of comedy and crazy, quirky characters!

Gone are the days when redneck was a dirty word. Today it is one of the fastest growing cultures in the U.S. and even internationally.

Twila Taunton, Private Investigator,  is the quintessential redneck - sassy, politically incorrect, and oozing with confidence.  Her only weakness is that she's afraid of commitment, which causes her to vacillate between the O'Connor twins. It's all Jimmie-Ray's fault because he dumped her on her wedding day. In the first novel, she is living in Yankee territory. She helps hunky Harland O'Connor catch a monster.

Harland O'Connor

He is the hunk who finally manages to persuade Twila to allow herself to be with a man again after her childhood sweetheart, Jimmie-Ray stood her up on her wedding day. His story is coming out soon and will be available to download for free.

Twila describes him like this:

"His eyes were mesmerizing. I had to avoid looking into them because once they locked with mine; I couldn’t tear my gaze away. They were deep, deep brown, with long lashes, and so warm,—the most bedroomy eyes I had ever had the good—or bad—fortune to stare into. It was like looking at a bed with a down comforter on a cold night."

Kick Assitude

This is the second book in the series. Twila is on a mission to hunt down her mother's killers and bring them to justice. Cairn Terrier Scratch adopts her and loves to ride on the back of her Harley with her. She also meets very sexy cowboy, Tanner Ferrano, who is hell bent on getting into her pants. They go horse riding and mud bogging together, and get locked in a wine cellar, where their only option is to drink the priceless wines.

Backwoods Boogie

I'm thrilled to say my publisher Uncial Press has this one in the works, to be released in the fall of 2014.

I think it's the best one yet, and my editor Jude agrees.

Twila finds herself working for Jimmie-Ray -- the man she despises most  in the world, but her compassionate nature cannot allow Pam Taylor to be convicted of murder when she is clearly not capable of killing anything. She calls Gasser to come to Quisby, her small Alabama hometown, to help with a problem.

Gasser starts a band, and Twila and her friends rescue some dogs from a puppy mill, much to Scratch's approval!
